LE POINT – JACQUES DUPONT - Rating: 14.5/20

Château Picque Caillou, 2015 Red
Black fruit, oaky, lively on the palate, tight-knit, oak coming to the fore; an attractive wine then comes through; elegant and lively. Rating: 14.5/20

VINIFERA – JACQUES PERRIN - Rating: 3 Stars

Château Picque Caillou, 2015 Red
The nose reveals red berry fruit notes; the body is supple, balanced with fruity tannins. Raspberry notes coming through in the finish. Rating: 3 Stars

DECANTER - JANE ANSON - Rating 89/100

Château Picque Caillou, 2015 Red
Loganberries, bilberries and autumnal spices. Highly charged – the winemaking team enjoyed using the ripe fruit this year. A little abrupt on the finish, but lots to enjoy. Rating 89/100

JANCIS ROBINSON - Rating: 17/20

Château Picque Caillou, 2015 Red
Blueish dark crimson. Very direct fragrance. Relatively light and fresh but very Graves. No tarting up and quite ripe enough. Tannins need to melt a little but very refreshing. Rating: 17/20

MATTHEW JUKES - Rating: 17+/20

Château Picque Caillou, 2015 Red
A full-bodied Picque Caillou Rouge with some real stuffing and depth, this is a dark, bold wine which will need five years minimum to soften, but I think it will be a beauty. Rating: 17+/20
